Well So Far, So Good and I Hoping You are beginning to understand how all this is going to work for Your Desktop and now some tips on tweaking out John's Wallpaper Changer for You that either I like or My Partner likes or do not like and they are....
#1.> The first thing I recommend is that you set up the time intervals that you want your Desktop Wallpaper to be changed. This can be anything from every 30 seconds to every 7 days and while I like every hour, my partner like once a day and if this is what you prefer then I recommend that you also check the box for {At midnight} as shown here...
This way you will get a New Wallpaper each day that you start your computer!
All the following tips are accessed via the {More} Button on the Main Window as shown here....
#2.> Neither I nor my Partner like the Wallpaper Name, By and Date Of the Wallpaper being displayed on Our Desktops as shown here....
So if you also would like to turn this off, simply uncheck the box for {Show picture info on the top right-hand corner of the screen} under General Of More Settings as shown here....
#3.> If You would like to have a current calendar displayed somewhere on Your Desktop along with the Wallpaper well John's Background Switcher can do this for you also as shown here in the lower right hand corner...
To turn this feature on then check the box for {Draw a calendar on the desktop} as shown here...
And if you want the Week to start with Sunday, be sure to uncheck that box!!!
#4.> To ensure that you always get the latest Wallpaper that is being offered from this Blog I recommend that you check the box for {Always switch the background when starting up} Under Advance of More Settings as shown here...
(A Note Here): If you have installed the older version of 4.10 to get thing to work here, You should also un-check "Periodically check for a newer version" at the very top of the list!!!
#5.> And last but not least, for I'm so hoping that you can already see all the oh so many possibilities of what you can do to display Wallpapers on Your Desktop(s) with John's Background Changers, but here is one that I wanted to show you and that is displaying walls like you haven't seen before automatically has shown here....
This effect for Your Desktop takes (8) random Wallpapers from My Blog to make a collage of (7) of them on top of the 8th Wall. To get this effect simply click on {Create a polaroid pile} from the Main Window as shown here...
And then click on the {More} Button and under Montages has shown here...
Uncheck the {Show caption or title on polaroids and select {Grayscale} for the Background effect.
